Search for Unclaimed Funds

Unclaimed Funds are checks that have issued to a customer and never cashed.  Search for any outstanding checks you may have available waiting to be claimed. Simply complete the search form below to find out. If you discover any Unclaimed Funds available in your name, just print out the claim form and mail or bring it by your local HTC office.

New legislation affecting unclaimed property:

Effective June 1, 2011 the administration of unclaimed capital credits payments was transferred from the State of SC to your cooperative. To defray the cost of managing these funds, and provide for the economic growth of Horry County, HTC will begin assessing a minimum administrative fee of $1.00 per month beginning one year from the date of the check.

Claims for properties must be in writing, be witnessed by an HTC employee, or notarized if sent by mail. Forms are available on-line or at any HTC office. Again, properties left outstanding, more than one year, will be reduced by the administrative fee each month until they have been claimed.
